Analyses of Coffee and Teas

Coffee and tea are among the most consumed food products in the world.

Today, an annually amount of more than 50,800 tons of tea are brought into Germany from China, India, Sri Lanka or Kenya, entering through Bremen and Hamburg. Half of it is processed here and subsequently exported again to other countries.

Coffee comes from the agricultural regions in Central America, South America, Africa and Asia. On average, about 1.2 million tons are imported and processed in Germany each year.

From the distant regions where tea and coffee is farmed, all the way to the processing, a wide variety of factors can influence the quality of your product. Microbial impurities, mycotoxins resulting from fungal infestation, or cross-contamination in various production steps could all potentially cause disruptions in processing and delivery.
